SauL.. =p

When Samuel rebuked Saul
I Samuel 13:9b
And Saul offered up the burnt offering... Then Samuel arrived...
11b Saul said, "When I SAW that men were SCATTERING, and that YOU did NOT COME at the SET TIME,... and I have NOT SOUGHT the Lord's favor... I was COMPELLED to OFFER
13 Samuel said "You acted foolishly"
14 Your kingdom will not endure...
24b Cursed be anyone who eats of the honey...

I Samuel 14:52b
whenever Saul saw a might or brave man, he took him into his service..

These verses mentioned were important to His Story...

Saul was a good man.. skillful... and above reproach.. He was known to be a great warrior...
But, there are things we may consider about him...
1. He never had direct relationship with God.. It has always been Saul to Priest to God.. Or People's cry to Saul's compassion to God's destiny...
2. He was compelled to do things out of his own way when pressure gets tough..
He always looked at his people's condition, status.. He'd love to see his people happy..haha or he loves to please his people...
3. He Impost unnecessarily rules for himself and everyone... 14:24b
Don't make things complicated... Listen to God carefully...
4. 14:52, He was never good at training warriors like he was... he gets the best... but not the best out of whom he trained...

Application:
1. We are ought to have direct relationship to God.. No matter how hard things may be, the more we know God, the more we'll see Him Greater and above all circumstance,.. That's what relationship does.. It strengthens the TRUST of both parties..
2. We are not to be man-pleaser or selfish... for God knows the best even for others.. You're not their hero.. Stand for yourself!.. If you think what you believe is worth fighting for, then stand for it..ha..
3. We are to make rules according to His revelation and Bible... Dont get me wrong, it's fine to be strict, BUT know your limits.. You might end up frustrated because of your super duper High standard Rules.. Be practical to yourself sometimes...
4. We are to delegate work, and influence by how we live... That's when responsibilities go light.. when everyone is already capable of handling it because you trained them so...

Saul, He was skillful etc... God even gave him POWER.. 1 Samuel 11:6, but the problem is,..
1. He dint have much preparation as to become a leader... For he was just a skillful warrior but not a Leader...
2. When Leading the people, He din't inquire much from God on how to become a Good leader...

"If we are in greater responsibilities, let's make sure that we always inquire of God on how we should lead.. because we're not just affecting our own lives, but other people as well"

"Becoming a Great Leader is different from being Skillful.. It takes wisdom and a good heart to pass the baton than a skillful hand to perform everything"-hyun 2:00 a.m. iM stiLL awake!!! waaa...
Oh, God you know my concerns... Please help me... Im always strengthened for you've given me such a wonderful past to remember to support my future in you... I have lots to look back about, and it will always encourage me God...
My own concerns, i don't know what to answer! haha.. but i know how...hehe simply having patience and faith... God bless those who earnestly seek Him and wait for their prayers to be fulfilled... thanks GOD!... il be your forever warrior until the end!... haha...
