Prov 13:12-14 this am...jan 26

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life" Proverbs 13:12


What about Abraham? Dint he wait for a long time? There was a dream he was longing for, a dream of great nation in an alien country. But it dint happen suddenly. He waited for decades.Did he ever grow weary? Did it make his heart sick? Or what made him fulfill the dream?


"v.13 People who despise advice are asking for trouble; those who respect a command will succeed."


So as we make the dream happen, we respect the command given to us that we may succeed in every way.dream doesn't come in just a single command, it's not like trading something,then receiving what you want. It's a process we go through, and through the process, there is knowledge, understanding, challenges, changes, correction.so as we respect the commands, advice, then we will succeed.


"v.14 The instruction of the wise is like a life-giving fountain; those who accept it avoid the snares of death."


life-giving fountain is much related to tree of life, both of them have life.

Tree of life is the image of accomplishment and success because of the work done. It is the evidence of a person's obedience to the instructionof the wise which is like a life-giving fountain.

Dreams are made by God, one way or the other, God gives it to us. He wants us to pursue something or "purpose ofyour life". He speaks to us, having reason why he communicates to us just simply because he wants us to succeedand to let us know that He loves us.

Did Abraham grow weary during the process? I believe He had lots of accomplishment during that time of waiting,He did not concentrate on that one big dream he had. He started out doing the small things,... finish it. learn from it.

Just like Noah, He dint just collect huge trees to cut for the ARK, he started out with the smallest, as in everything he could gather, then he started to build the ark little by little.
dreams are accomplished little by little. there maybe no chance of doing it, But God provides a way for us to see it. We justhave to seek Him, ask Him about it. He even gives us challenges that we are not aware of. We are then actually being "exercised" before the dream takes place . Or sometimes He fix our inner being, dealing with pride, laziness, arrogance,etc.


In other words,

Dream unfulfilled is basically a sign that theres something that still needs to be fixed or done or maybe just sometimes is not right. But "everything works for the good of those who Love Him",

I believe if you are inclined to God's word, it is automatic that you'll do His will for the rest of your life. You may not be perfect doing it, but God sees the heart, and little by little, glory to glory, you see great change in you because of His influence in your life.

He'll take care of your life business because you are representing Him. He doesnt want anyone representing Him to be a failure, loser, HE keeps Him well fed, equipped, with much confidence like King's son, so much strength likea warrior. He will dress you up with what's appropriate. He will feed you with what's enough. He will guide you through, for you to represent the King of kings wherever you go.

Dreams are destined to succeed in accordance to God's will and timing.

God's children don't give up on dreams because they are "GOD's" children...
