Guard my instructions as you guard your own eyes*
3. Tie them on your fingers as a reminder
Write them deep within your heart

No matter how focused we are on the instructions, if we don't guard our EYES, we still might fail.
what is the "EYES" on the verse?...
I realized that the EYES represent the THINGS that get our attention, PEOPLE that we may consider to follow or obey when trouble arises...

EYES, the representation of what gets our attention towards something new or different...

example...

just reading one good self-help book at some quiet park, being able to understand the whole thing, having revelation from every statement read...
then suddenly, someone, or just something passed by, someone,something that caught your attention...
you, might just check it out, and observe who,what that is...

you then got entertained and found yourself just staring at it..

then, being reminded about the book your holding, your MOMENTUM dies down.



it is simply one good picture or an interesting one, but in reality is a DISTRACTION..

it is important to read the book, and always keep your eyes focused on the instruction. you won't read a book far from you,as in like 5 meters from you... tendency is that you see everything that crosses, everything that moves around you... we hold the book near our eyes, enough to read and get focus...

THEN, on the next verse, 3a...

TIE them on your FINGERS as a reminder...
two important words mentioned on this phrase... TIE, FINGERS...

TIE, it is a representation that you, having something tied on you, is something important... or i should say, is PART of you,..

TIE.. signifies something, object playing role for something..becoming a part of something needing help or just anything.

we DONT tie something that won't play any role... even if it is a display.. still it plays the role of a DISPLAY..right?.. ;p

then for FINGERS,
FINGERS, no matter where we are, desert,ocean,.. we have our fingers , hands working for us..

it represents our daily work, plans, priority..etc...
FINGERS are what we use to work, etc..

Tie(play major role) them(focused,devoted to instruction) on your FINGERS(daily work, plan, priority, ATTITUDE),...

then on 3b,..

WRITE them DEEP within your HEART.

Write signifies our INITIATIVE to ask for something for us to receive and apply in our lives..

it doesnt say "RECEIVE them DEEP within your HEART"...

it says WRITE... it means, that we FIND instruction for ourselves..

We DECIDE on what to receive...
because -WHATEVER we WRITE in our HEARTS, is WHAT we ACCEPT"..

so basically, WRITE is the initiative to get instruction and the wisdom to what we should accept and obey...

then for HEART,.. it is what makes us ENJOY IT...
write them deep within your MIND... it becomes work..etc..
but if it's write them deep within your HEART... it becomes a delight...

HEART represents DELIGHT, YOUR INTEREST.. YOUR SOURCE of JOY...
...
WRITE(seek counsel and choose wisely what to obey) them(focused and devoted to instruction) DEEP (no one could reach or disturb) within (at the center and boundaries) of your HEAR( source of joy, DELIGHT)..

+ DELIGHT... it is what makes the HARD WORK, ENJOYING...
