David's heart

I was just reading through David's account for the last few days

It is quite interesting to see that David managed to be the most humble person in his time even if he's got the most reason to be proud of himself.

He realized that He was more proud of God than of himself.-that's one good way of practicing humility.

Humility is not looking down on yourself, but looking up to others in respect and love.

It is never seeing yourself as the ultimate solution to everything or the best among the rest, but it is the realization that you are once an empty vessel that has been filled by GOD ALONE.

How amazing it is to know that God is the most humble individual that we can always follow. He made everything and yet died for everything. then He rose and lived again for everything.

The beauty of humility is that we make other people feel like they've got importance and role to play to help others.

Humility is the key to learning further and more than what we can learn.

David once had everything. Then He left because of conflict with King Saul, but he was humble enough to pay Saul back with humility and respect. God honored him and blessed him, not only with riches, but with CHARACTER!..
